Claro MD was born from a personal moment of clarity—after a battle with chronic illness, obesity, and hopelessness. Our founder, Alejandro “A-Rod” Rodriguez, turned his life around by learning how to master his own health. He reversed type 2 diabetes, lost 230 pounds, and reignited his mission to serve others.

Along the way, he saw a deeper issue—millions of people across the U.S. are suffering silently. They’re hardworking. They’re raising families. They’re fighting to stay afloat in a system that has left them behind. For them, getting care means choosing between groceries and a doctor visit.

At Claro MD, we’re here to change that. We built this platform to bring hope, clarity, and control back to everyday people—starting with our Latino, African American, and rural communities, who are often the most overlooked in our healthcare system.
